Movie Review

The Farrelly brothers are at it again, but no where near their usual level of comedy. Kingpin has some funny elements but just isn't as hilarious as the Farrelly brothers' great films, such as Dumb and Dumber and There's Something About Mary. Full movie review »

I agree that the movie could have been better on comedy, but I thought the message was powerful. You do not always have to destroy your adversaries to "win". As Roy Munson found out, sometimes the real enemy is yourself.

I agree this is a good movie, very funny and a must for Bill Murray Fans, much more a Guy's movie.

Granted, it's not as funny as 'Dumb and Dumber' or 'There's Something About Mary', but Kingpin is a solid Farrelly Brothers movie. What it lacks in humor, it makes up in story i.e. Munson's attempt to make it back on top. Hence, I give it a B. If I were to rate the aforementioned movies, I'd give them A's, but I emphasize that Kingpin is a decent film.
