Movie Review

The Matrix trilogy comes to an end, and what a lackluster end it is. Though energized with one or two good action scenes, the climax to what could have been one of the most extraordinary sci-fi trilogies of all time has turned out to be nothing but colorful fluff. Entertaining, but nothing more than fluff. Full movie review »

my fave movie to date is the matrix part 1.Revolutions was still good but not amazing as its predecessor. This movie is worth renting but not buying.GREAT FIGHT SCENES?There are only a few fights in the movie .What happened to the cool ghost like vampire twins from revolutions? Why would robots who have no compassion agree to a cease fire?why would agent smith be able to fly and be invincible?dont say because he absorbed the oracle. the oracle was an old lady who made cookies and zen zingers. she didnt fly or fight. all she did was slow the movie down. the producers are idiots they took a franchise that couldve surpassed aliens terminator and star wars and ruined it.The fact is that the robots couldve wiped out the humans why should they stop? because they had a deal? if you love this movie u probably think britney spears is talented and scored over 900 on the SAT. IM Disappointed i wish i were wrong in my assessment.

I feel like the reviewer was generous with a "C" grade. I was a huge fan of The Matrix after I saw the first in theaters. I have to admit my devotion was tested a little with Reloaded, because I felt like the religious overtones and lack of decent plot was unsettling. However, I brushed it off as a "middle movie" lull, and went to see Revolutions on opening day. I was completely devastated. Revolutions had none of the spark, wit, and interest The Matrix originally provided. The ending was atrocious, the plot inconsistant, the characters completely abandoned. I felt like I was attending a sermon or a class: "Jesus in Cinema: A contemporary look at religion with "cool" effects." This movie had none of the qualities I had come to expect from the W. Brothers.
