It's Vietnam, 1968 and five Green Berets have set out on an unthinkable mission; to smuggle an 8,000 pound elephant to a remote village. Captain Sam Cahill promised the Montagnard villagers of Dak Nhe to replace their prized elephant due to the fact that if the villagers become angry, the Americans may lose their supposedly strategic post in the jungle.

Movie Review

Operation Dumbo Drop is a fairly original comedy. How many other movies, besides Dumbo, do you get to see an elephant flying through the air (and this one can't fly!)? There's some good, family jokes and the acting isn't half bad either. The only stupid thing in this movie was, instead of seeing a boy and his dog, we get to see a boy and his elephant.
