Movie Review

Grade: C Ravenous makes you hungry for a movie with a little more thought, as it presents an idea that could be pulled into a worthy film but just falls short in about every idea. Guy Pearce stars as Captain John Boyd, a silent war hero who doesn't deserve the title he holds. He must have picked Ravenous over other L.A. Confidential -type scripts because he didn't have to work in the process of making this one. His character hardly talks, his character isn't even very likeable, and at some points he is hardly distinguishable from the bad guy, the venerable Robert Carlyle, who is the only stand-out thing in the entire one hour and forty minutes.
