The 30 Movies You Absolutely Must See in 2015

Southpaw

25. Entourage

The HBO comedy series ended perfectly, but for some reason the gang is back for a big-screen feature. Why? We’re not quite sure, but if the movie can be as fun as the TV show, we’ll take what we can get.

24. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

Katniss is back for this final installment in The Hunger Games. Following a somewhat slow Part One and the fact the book it is based on is less than great, we’re looking forward to it–but expectations are diminished.

23. Project Almanac

Pushed back a year and retitled multiple times, Paramount doesn’t seem to know quite what to do with this thriller about teenagers who discover a time travel machine. But when done right, time travel movies can be a lot of fun… here’s hoping!

22. Southpaw

Jake Gyllenhaal has proven he picks his projects pretty carefully (we’ll ignore Prince of Persia), and it looks like the actor has transformed himself physically to play a psychologically fractured boxer in this Antoine Fuqua drama.

21. The Fantastic Four

After two terrible movies, 20th Century Fox is rebooting the Marvel series–they own the rights, not Disney and Marvel Studios–with Josh Trank at the helm. Given that Trank directed the surprisingly awesome Chronicle, he may be the right man to finally bring respectability to this franchise.
