Mr. Bean is paid to sit in the corner at the London National Art Gallery and observe the pictures but the Board of Directors is longing to fire him. Unfortunately, the Chairman of the Board thinks highly of Bean, so they cannot. Instead, they send him to the Grierson Gallery in Los Angeles to deliver a $50 million painting called Whistler's Mother for three months which means three months of peace.

MOVIE REVIEW

Based on the hilarious British comedy, Mr. Bean, this movie provides the same slapstick comedy that made the show so popular. However, Mr. Bean has never had much of a plot; they were usually all ten to fifteen minute segments. Expanding Bean into a full two hours was a bit lengthy; the humor dissipated halfway through. It was still funny, but not as funny, because he actually tried to resolve the problems he caused. Full movie review »
