All Quiet on the Western Front Review
Now available on Digital, Blu-ray and DVD (Buy/Rent on Amazon)
Capsule Review: The latest iteration of All Quiet on the Western Front is a gripping, gritty, and horrifying look at warfare from the perspective of young German men, sold on glory and national pride. While perhaps lacking the strong, defined characters typically seen in the best of war movies, All Quiet nonetheless unfolds with emotional power. Director Edward Berger delivers sensational and devastating war sequences and Felix Kammerer serves as a strong protagonist through which we observe the horror of trench warfare unfold.
