Capsule Review: This riveting documentary, as straightforward as you’d expect for a film about NASA, starts slow—its decision to bypass traditional documentary crutches such as a narrator or even interviews isn’t exactly captivating at first—but accelerates as if shot into space. Methodical and beautiful, Apollo 11 outlines the greatest achievement in the history of mankind from start to fashion in amazing, step-by-step detail. Highly recommended.
