The Innocents Review
Now available on Digital, Blu-ray and DVD (Buy/Rent on Amazon)
An autistic teenager finds her voice and a sociopathic child discovers he has the power to literally control others in the tense and unsettling The Innocents, a fantastic little thriller set in Norway.
Featuring some great performances by an almost-exclusively young cast, writer/director Eskil Vogt tells a spellbinding tale of uncontrolled power, murder, and a battle between good and evil. Everything, from the pace to the atmospheric setting (a grayed our block of apartment buildings cast against a gray forest) is spot on; The Innocents is a devilishly crafted movie worth checking out.
