The Night Stalker Review
The Night Stalker is The Silence of the Lambs if you stripped away the Buffalo Bill investigation, the intrigue and its budget, a mildly engaging but ultimately forgettable drama-thriller that features a pretty good performance by Lou Diamond Phillips--as the incarcerated title character--and not much else. The movie has its moments, but the revelations are underwhelming and the motivations of the main character (Bellamy Young) are not as impactful as writer/director Megan Griffiths intended.
The Night Stalker was screened at the 2016 Seattle International Film Festivial (SIFF).
