Broken Arrow Movie Synopsis & Plot

The B-3 Stealth Bomber soars over the desert. Its mission: routine. It's cargo: two nuclear warheads. It's pilots: Two close friends, Vic Deakins and Riley Hale. Vic, the older of the two, is more experienced and obviously in control. Too much in control. In one heart-stopping minute, Vic releases the cargo into the desert and attempts to kill Riley. Riley barely escapes with his life and watches as the bomber slams into the ground and blows apart.

Ranger Terry Carmichael is sent to investigate the strange disturbance the night before; instead, she finds Riley. He convinces her that he is telling the truth, and, knowing that the military will be hesitant to send anyone into a supposed radioactive area, they are alone. They set out to retrieve the nuclear warheads and stop Vic at all costs, even if it means setting off one of the nuclear devices. But how can one fighter pilot and a park ranger go against a group of terrorists trained to kill?

They soon learn of Vic's plan; to sell the weapon on the black market for a very large sum of money. The military thinks him dead and the nuclear weapons destroyed; he'll be able to smuggle them from the country. Unfortunately, Riley is still alive which means someone knows the truth. Just like they did in their boxing matches, Vic and Riley will go against each other once again, for the last time, but at the end, there will be only one man left standing.

MOVIE REVIEW

Broken Arrow is a perfect nuclear movie, complete with action, an excellent villain (John Travolta), and graphics. Everything is suspenseful down to the last seconds. Christian Slater almost acts. Despite being an all-out action thriller, the action isn't really anything new; it gets tiresome. Broken Arrow is a good action movie but that's all it is; don't expect anything new.
