Bruce Nolan is having a really bad day, but things are going to take a turn for the worse... After cursing out God for everything that is wrong in the world, He shows up and gives Bruce all his powers, just to show him that having the power to control does not necessarily make it easy to control.

After a string of disappointments and flops, Jim Carrey returns with heavenly power in Bruce Almighty. Re-teaming with the men that made Carrey such a success in Ace Ventura, Carrey serves up some PG-13 fun that can appeal to just about everyone.
