Dick - Movie Synopsis & Plot

After taking a wrong turn on a White House tour, teens Betsy Jobs (Kirsten Dunst) and Arlene Lorenzo (Michelle Williams) stumble across a room packed full of presidential secrets in the comedy "Dick." In an effort to find out exactly what the girls know, the Commander-in-Chief-"Tricky Dick" Nixon (Dan Hedaya) himself-appoints them as official White House dog walkers. Suddenly and accidentally, the two girls are swept up in the political intrigue of the world's most famous break-in: Watergate. As the clueless duo are plunged deeper into their Washington adventure, not even all the President's men can stop Betsy and Arlene from unwittingly changing the course of history forever.

"Clueless" meets "All the President's Men" in "Dick," a comedy from Columbia Pictures and Phoenix Pictures which offers a decidedly different take on the third-rate burglary that turned into a first-rate national scandal.

MOVIE REVIEW

Harvard should take the guys from Dumb and Dumber and A Night at the Roxbury because the girls in Dick are in a league of their own. Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams are two teen bimbos who, by accident, alert the people to the Watergate robbery, and then, later, stumble across a lot of incriminating evidence that could get Richard "Dick" Nixon kicked out of office. The point is that Dick portrays "Deep Throat" as two teen dumb blondes. There is a good side and a bad side to this movie.
