In a day of the lives of the staff of Empire Records, anything can happen, and will. Popular but bored teen idol Rex Manning is coming to the store to sign autographs, and Corey has sworn to loose her virginity with him. A.J., another employee, wants to tell Corey he loves her, and Corey's best friend, Gina, is devising a plan of her own. Debra, the night before, tried killing herself with a dull, plastic knife, and has since then shaved her head. And worst of all, Joe, the manager of Empire Records, is facing corporate takeover, and the estranged Lucas, in an attempt to save the store, took nine-thousand dollars from the register and lost it all in Atlantic City. Then there's the so-called Warren Beatty, who is caught stealing some CD's and ends up pulling a gun out in the store...

Empire Records is a hectic place, but it's also a fun place.

When Empire Records first came out, I had no inclination to see it. Even when I finally did check out, I was expected an utterly pointless, and stupid movie. I was right. Empire Records is stupid, the characters are weird, and has absolutely no plot, but... But it was a fun and comical movie. As long as you are a teenager.
