Entrapment Movie Synopsis & Plot

Robert "Mac" MacDougal is one of the world's greatest art thieves. Already rich, he steals the art for himself, not to show off.

And when a priceless Rembrandt is stolen from a high-tech building in New York, all evidence points to Mac. He was at the auction a few weeks later, targeting the buyers. He left town right after the robbery. And no one knows how he got away with it.

Except for insurance investigator Virginia "Gin" Baker. The only thing outweighing her beauty her mind, Gin is positive that she can take Mac down. Her boss is skeptical; he sent two agents after Mac a while back, and neither of them were ever found. But Gin is confident that she can get him, and so her boss lets her go.

But even within the first day, Mac catches on to her. He steals her luggage and takes pictures of her scoping out a building that was just recently robbed. Gin tells him that she needs his help to steal a famous mask, and, while Mac doesn't trust her, agrees to form a partnership. They begin to train for the big heist, but a bigger one is one the horizon, at the count of midnight of the new millennium. But who's side is Gin on? Who's side is Mac on? And will they trust, or betray, each other?

MOVIE REVIEW

In the 1960's, Sean Connery was James Bond, handsome, suave, daring, intelligent, and women could never resist him. Now, thirty-five years later, nothing has changed, except for that he's not James Bond. He's a world-famous art thief, but he still holds all of the same characteristics. And the woman, one could call her a "Bond girl," is Catherine Zeta-Jones, who is even sexier than she was in The Mask of Zorro. And in Entrapment, it seems that no man can resist her, not even Sean Connery.
