The Earth has been overrun by an alien race that cannot be seen by the naked eye. Almost all humans are dead, except for the ones that live in various outposts around the world. The World Council has devised a way to kill the alien threat, but some feel that the laser device will also destroy the Earth. It is up to one woman to find the truth and save the world before the aliens or the humans destroy it.

MOVIE REVIEW

One videogame adaptation has already come to the big screen this year, Tomb Raider, and while providing some entertainment, really left little to be desired for. So it was relief to see Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within at least trying to break some new ground, and, for the most part, it does.
