Now that Hiccup has trained his dragon, he is left with nothing to do but explore new lands, which in turn causes him to get into all kinds of new trouble--like capturing the attention of an evil conqueror who wants to command all dragons.

MOVIE REVIEW

They trained the dragon in the last one, so How to Train Your Dragon 2 is pretty misleading. Most people won't care as the sequel is still pretty decent, albeit lacking the same charm, fun and entertainment factor of the original.
