Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Movie Synopsis & Plot

Dr. Jones has been kidnapped by the Nazis and his son, Indy, has gone looking for him. Using his father's diary, Indiana Jones, Marcus Brody, and Dr. Elsa Schneider travel to World War II Europe to find him. It turns out that the Nazis believe that Indy's father, Henry, had some clues as to where the Holy Grail is and will go to nothing to get it. With the Holy Grail, the Nazis would become an unstoppable force of evil that would sweep the world.

Their quest leads them to Venice where they discover one of three brothers that protected the Grail. Their investigation is interrupted, however, by a clan of men claiming they are the chosen protectors of the cross and must keep everyone from finding the Grail.

Indiana Jones soon meets up with his father where they barely escape death but still insist on finding the Grail before the Nazis do. Traveling to the Canyon of the Crescent Moon, Indiana, Henry, and Brody stumble across the home to the Grail, only to find it overrun with Nazis. From there, Indy must venture into the greatest challenge of his life to save his father and find the Grail before it's too late.

MOVIE REVIEW

The Last Crusade is my favorite out of the Indiana Jones movies. It has a cool story, lots of action, and funny exploits. Everybody does an excellent job and the introduction of Sean Connery as Indy's father was great. The Last Crusade also looks into Indy's past (the introduction shows him as a Boy Scout) and even reveals the origin of his name. The Last Crusade was much more like Raiders of the Lost Ark in terms of content, with Nazis, mystical artifacts, and so on.
