Amanda Lemmon is a street smart orphan who has just gone to camp with her good friend Diane. Diane is looking for the perfect man that she can settle down with and Amanda is looking for a family. Across the lake, Alyssa Callaway, daughter of a millionaire, is about to get a new mother, a nasty, child-hating woman. However, her hopes rise when she meets Amanda and they devise a plan to rid themselves of Ms. Kensington. What makes the plan really neat, however, is that they are identical strangers. Switching places, they set out to bring Diane and Alyssa's father together.

MOVIE REVIEW

Basically a remake of The Parent Trap, It Takes Two puts a 1990's twist to the old classic, and with a slightly different story. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen star alongside as Kirstie Allen and Steve Guttenberg, and everyone delivers a rather enjoyable performance. There are a few sappy scenes as this movie is for the younger viewer, but it still is a good movie.
