A good hearted college freshman (Walker), driving cross-country to pick up the girl he loves (Sobieski), is goaded by his "black sheep" brother (Zahn) into playing a prank over the CB radio... ridiculing a lonely voice in the night. That voice turns out to be their worst nightmare -- a trucker obsessed with exacting revenge.
