An international space crew discovers life on Mars, and it proves to be more intelligent than first appears.

Critics aren't always right (gasp!) and such is the case with Life, a critically reviled sci-fi thriller that failed at the box office in part because critics declared, “Stay far, far away.” Hell, I missed the press screening and on recommendations from my peers, I stayed away until I happened to stumble across it while on a 10-hour plane flight.
