Psycho - Movie Synopsis & Plot
The Bates Hotel sits quietly off the beaten track, occasionaly bringing in a customer or two. The rooms, the lot, and the old house that overlooks the hotel are maintained by a single man, Norman Bates. Norman bates is a friendly man but deprived of a life; his whole existence is around the hotel. He's lonely in the large, old home and when visitors come, especially young women, he is more than delighted to make dinner and have a chat. But there's something wrong with the hotel... something dark, something sinister...
Norman Bates' mother gets jealous when his interest strays away from her. And there's nothing like an angry mother, a psychotic son, and a hotel where, if you scream, no one will hear you.
