The Hills Have Eyes Movie Synopsis & Plot

A new take on Wes Craven's 1977 film of the same name, "The Hills Have Eyes" is the story of a family road trip that goes terrifyingly awry when the travelers become stranded in a government atomic zone. Miles from nowhere, the Carters soon realize the seemingly uninhabited wasteland is actually the breeding ground of a blood-thirsty mutant family...and they are the prey.

MOVIE REVIEW

Forget "Saw." Forget "The Devil's Rejects." If it is pure gore and torment you want, there's finally a winner in "The Hills Have Eyes," a deeply disturbing and grotesque story of murder, cannabilism and mutated freaks. While far from perfect, it is a thrill ride from minute one, and horror fans who have missed the extreme violence that is rarely found nowadays will not be disappointed.
