On a small island, an outcast scientist has created the gap between humans and animals. His loyal subjects, half-human, half animal, obey his every command. Until one day. After years of persecution, the animals revolt, killing the Doctor. Edward Douglas, a man who arrived only a few days before when he was found on the beach, finds himself trapped by the hideous creatures who would enjoy nothing better than killing him. Determined to stay alive, however, he must avoid the impossible before they get him.

MOVIE REVIEW

Everything starts out great, but as soon as Dr. Moreau is slaughtered, all things go to hell. The Island of Dr. Moreau is horrid. It is hardly viewable. The animals turn into blood-thirty creatures, they don machine guns, and, well, that says it all right there. Val Kilmer is a drug addict, and there is a "nice" club scene where all the animals are having sex. If you want to see something decent, watch the older version.
