
Tin Cup Movie Synopsis & Plot
Roy "Tin Cup" McAvoy is about the best golfer to date but lives in a trailer outside his golfing range in the middle of nowhere. He's sleezy, rude, and abrupt, but one damn good golfer.
When the beautiful Dr. Molly Griswold comes for golf lessons, he falls head over heels in love for her. However, when he finds that her boyfriend is his rival, he realizes that's he's going to have to improve his standards. Attempting to control his temper, Tin Cup sets out to win the PGA Tour and prove to Molly that he is better than her boyfriend and can control himself.
And what do you know? Tin Cup and his rival, David Simms, are the top two golfers at the tournament who will win?

Kevin Costner is in a sports movie yet again, and once more, he makes it an enjoyable ride. He's Roy "Tin Cup" McAvoy, one of the best golfer's in the world, yet he works on a decrepit driving range.
