As told by Homer's The Iliad, in 1193 B.C. Prince Paris of Troy kidnapped Helen from her husband Menelaus, the King of Sparta. In retaliation, Menelaus sends Achilles and the entire Greek armada to besiege the city of Troy, and the war goes on for over a decade.

In the tradition of Braveheart and Gladiator comes Troy, the next epic that depicts the Trojan War at its finest. Who am I kidding? Troy doesn't even come close to comparing with those classics; it is run-of-the-mill entertainment, and nothing more.
