A man who is in love with his best friend's girlfriend becomes the victim of a suicide car crash and is horribly disfigured, but then he learns that the girlfriend loves him as well, and he is able to get his face rebuilt. However, just when things start looking up, strange and horrible things start to happen. The movie is a remake of Open Your Eyes, which also starred Penelope Cruz.
