Movie Review
Funny, clever and featuring the beautiful Marilyn Monroe, "Some Like it Hot" is a timeless classic, which is more than we can expect from most. As a 22-year old kid who was born decades after Ms. Monroe passed away, this is the first movie I've seen her in - and yes, I'm a movie critic. While her character does feel a bit dated, considering she's a gullible blonde interested in nothing more than marrying a rich tycoon, she still oozes sexiness in every scene. Of course the real magic comes from Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis, two perfectly cast comedians who pull off their roles with ease. Every line they deliver is priceless and, even though there have been dozens of good movies that have done this formula since, the comedy and jokes still feel fresh. Full movie review »
