Buried was an okay movie, confined by its… limited dimensions (the movie takes place in a coffin). But it works largely on the performance by Ryan Reynolds, who is the only actor to appear on screen. While his character isn’t exactly likable, Reynolds convinces the audience to care for him. He has the chops – he just needs to find the right role.
